WebCash Credit Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

1.1 WebCash SMC Uganda develops and operates the WebCash mobile application and its associated financial and advertising services.

1.2 We respect your privacy and process your information confidentially and in accordance with this policy.

2. Information we collect

• Personal and business information you provide during registration and use of WebCash.
• Transaction information recorded through WebCash.
• Information about how you use WebCash, including frequency and duration of activity.
• Communications between you and WebCash SMC Uganda.
• Technical information about the devices you use to access WebCash.
• Location information, where permission has been granted.

3. How we use this information

• Provide and improve our services.
• Support loan assessment, approval, and management where applicable.
• Improve the convenience, efficiency, and security of the application.
• Respond to your inquiries and communicate service information.
• Show relevant advertisements and measure their effectiveness.

4. Who we share information with

4.1 We may share relevant data with credit reference bureaus when necessary to assess creditworthiness or manage repayment behavior.

4.2 Your information may be processed by authorized staff or service providers inside or outside Uganda where required to support WebCash services.

4.3 We do not share personally identifying information without your consent unless required by law or regulation.

5. Data storage and security

5.1 Your data may be transferred to and stored outside Uganda where necessary to operate our services efficiently and securely.

5.2 While no internet transmission is completely secure, we use reasonable technical and operational measures to protect your data.

6. Loan terms information

6.1 The minimum repayment period is one week and the maximum repayment period is four months.

6.2 The maximum annual percentage rate (APR) is 17.854%.

7. Managing or deleting your information

7.1 To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact WebCash SMC Uganda at info@micropay.co.ug or +256 702 461 049.

8. Changes to this policy

8.1 WebCash may update this privacy policy by posting the amended version on the website.

9. Applicable law

9.1 This policy is governed by the laws of Uganda and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
